Yes. The colour comes from the ube root itself. The shade varies naturally between batches, and it looks lighter once you add milk. We never use dyes or artificial colours.

No. Ube is naturally caffeine-free. Ube is a root vegetable rather than a tea or coffee plant, so an ube latte contains no caffeine unless you add coffee, matcha or another caffeinated ingredient yourself.

No. Ube and taro are two different plants. Ube is Dioscorea alata, a yam that is naturally purple inside. Taro is Colocasia esculenta, usually white or pale with small flecks, and purple taro drinks are often coloured. Compare ube and taro.
